Exclusive use, every time
Merrydale is only ever hired exclusively, so the whole estate is yours and your guests' for the celebration. That privacy, set against acres of rolling parkland and manicured gardens, gives the day a real sense of occasion and calm.
A light-filled ceremony space
The ceremony room is a luxurious, open space with limestone flooring, oak beams and far-reaching views over the grounds, seating up to around 240 guests. It is a versatile, naturally light room that suits both intimate gatherings and large celebrations.
The Merrydale Suite
At the heart of the venue, the elegant Merrydale Suite and Bar is the setting for dining, speeches and dancing, with large windows framing the courtyard gardens and lake. The flow from ceremony to reception is easy, keeping guests comfortable from the vows through to the evening.
Stay over
Merrydale offers up to fourteen double bedrooms — ten boutique-style courtyard rooms and four within the manor house, including a bridal suite — with breakfast for overnight guests. It means the closest family and friends can stay close and start the next morning together.
